I am a Senior Academic Researcher at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center, where I lead the Financial Stability & Development workstream within the Global Economic Governance Initiative (GEGI).
Previously, I worked at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in the Debt and Development Finance Branch. I completed my postdoctoral research at SOAS, University of London, and hold a PhD in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin.
My research focuses on how reforms in the international financial architecture can enhance countries' development prospects. My publications cover topics such as sovereign debt, the Global Financial Safety Net, international finance, and currency internationalization.
